Chad Martin Family

     I have some amazing nieces and nephews. :) Chad & Anna didn't want to take very long on this; they just wanted a few family photos. Neither did I really, for the matter, seeing's the day was sweltering hot. ;) But the children did wonderfully  - and we were in and out of the park in 20 minutes!

Josh & Emily

     

   

   Of all the previous young couples I've posted, none, I think, have fallen quite so hard as Josh & Emily.

     The kind of young people that, for years, simply stood out as made for each other.

     They are one of those storybook, picture-perfect couples.

     They have moved to an altitude somewhere high above that of normal humans...

     ...and it takes effort to draw their attention back to the world we happen to dwell in.

     The reserved Josh of pre-dating has turned into quite the conversationalist. They've covered basically everything in 3 weeks that it takes some couples the entire courtship to discuss. 

     They laugh. All the time. As if the delight of being together simply bubbles out in a joyous, sparkling froth.

     "Whoa," says Josh, "whoa," when I made the mistake of asking them to look at each other. "This is only our first date! It's not like we're engaged or anything yet."

     My bad.

     I was naive enough to try it again. I mean, after all, it sure felt like they would be willing to pose while looking at each other.

    But I guess not.

      We think y'all are great! Call us up when you need us - we'll be happy to accompany you on the next stage of your relationship!
    
     (Oops. I don't think I was supposed to say that. After all, this is only their first date!)
